Next, you will find a long article regarding the restoration of a statue nicknamed «Fame» initially created by Pierre Feitu. That sculpture is an element of the monument raised in Joyce Kilmer Park in the New York borough of Bronx in memory of Louis J. Heintz. That article composed by journalist John Freeman Gill was published in the New York Times on the 22nd of January 2021.

If you want to know even more about Louis J. Heintz Memorial in Joyce Kilmer Park, please read the following article in the official website of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. (Copyright: The City of New York©)

Yet another splendid document thanks to which you can catch another glimpse of the very same monument showing Fame and the rest of the sculpture (from roughly 2:45 onwards) and also its beautiful Joyce Kilmer Park surroundings. Many thanks to the Bronx Naturalist for this lovely video and his very interesting historical and cultural commentary.
